About Redeeming Works

A family-run concrete and construction company built on a simple idea: do honest work, build it to last, and treat every customer's property like it's our own.

Our Story

Locally Owned, Built on Hard Work

Redeeming Works Concrete & Construction is a family-run, faith-based company owned and operated by Jake Jiles, based in Creston, Ohio and locally owned near Akron. What started with a commitment to quality flatwork has grown into a full-service concrete and construction company serving homeowners and businesses across Summit, Portage, Medina, Stark, Wayne, and Cuyahoga Counties.

Our faith is at the heart of the name. "Redeeming Works" reflects how we approach every job — taking worn-out, broken, or unfinished spaces and redeeming them into something solid, useful, and built to last. Whether it's a cracked driveway, a sinking basement floor, or a brand-new patio, we treat it as a chance to do honest, meaningful work that we're proud to put our name on.

  • Faith-based values — integrity, honesty, and respect on every job
  • Owner-operated — Jake is on the job, not just on the invoice
  • Licensed & insured for your protection
  • Clean, respectful job sites
  • Clear written estimates with no surprises

Our Faith & Values

Built on Faith, Honesty, and Hard Work

As a faith-based business, we believe the way we treat people matters as much as the concrete we pour. That means doing what we say, charging a fair price, respecting your home and time, and standing behind our work long after the truck pulls away.

We're grateful for the chance to serve our neighbors across Northeast Ohio — and we aim to earn that trust on every single project.

Our Standards

How We Build Concrete That Lasts

Long-lasting concrete is the result of disciplined fundamentals. Here's what we hold ourselves to on every pour.

Proper Base Prep

Compacted, well-drained sub-base under every slab — the single biggest factor in preventing future cracking and settling.

Right Mix for Ohio

Air-entrained concrete at appropriate strength to resist freeze-thaw damage common in Northeast Ohio winters.

Reinforcement

Rebar or wire mesh where it counts, plus correctly spaced control joints to manage natural cracking.

Correct Curing

Concrete gains strength over time when cured properly — we don't rush what nature needs to do right.

Drainage & Slope

Every flatwork pour is sloped to move water away from your home and prevent pooling.

Clean Finish

Broom, smooth, or decorative — finished to spec and cleaned up before we leave.
